When pandemic restrictions were first announced in March, shortly before Taste of Cayman 2020 was set to be held, we postponed our festival with a view to staging it in October. However, as the pandemic has continued to unfold in Cayman and around the world, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s event.
While the Cayman Islands has successfully controlled the virus within our borders for now, we must continue to exercise the utmost caution when it comes to large gatherings which means our focus remains on the safety of our guests, vendors, staff and everyone involved in the festival.
Delaying Taste of Cayman until 2021 will also give our industry’s business owners time to focus on rebuilding their businesses as they re-open, and to properly prepare for and engage with the festival once they are back on their feet. We ask that you continue to visit and support them during this unprecedented time of economic hardship.
As of now, Taste of Cayman 2021 will take place on Saturday, 17 April 2021.
Thank you to our sponsors, vendors and event partners for their unwavering support in this difficult time – we appreciate your commitment to the festival and all that it brings to the Cayman Islands.
And to our festival guests, every year you continue to make Taste of Cayman a wonderful celebration of food, drink, music, community and island life. We can’t wait to come together again when it’s safe to do so.
