In honor of World Bartender Day on Monday February 24th, we’d like to thank all the bartenders in Cayman for their hard work, dedication, inspiration and keeping the crowds happy right until the “last calls” are made.
A bartender is everyone’s favourite person on a night out, keeping us well supplied in beverages. But bartenders do so much more than just make drinks. They craft complex flavors and help create unforgettable experiences. They offer support with welcoming smiles and a friendly ear at the end of a long day. They show up on holidays and stay late into the night. They are best at talking, listening, joking and being a shoulder to cry on and a person to confide in.
We understand that not everyone could make it on Monday. But it is never too late to swing by your favourite bar and pay a tribute to your beloved bar staff. Here are a few ideas of what is going on on the island’s bar scene this weekend:
Anchor & Den is hosting a “Gin-ius Fridays‘” event this Friday February 28th. Join them in celebration of their fave spirit by indulging in $8 handcrafted G&T’s and irresistible gin-based cocktails as well yummy shareable food boards like our Sausage and Sliders No. 389 Boards. Start your weekend off right with close friends, good vibes and fun tunes from their resident DJ.
Feeling like dancing to some Latino vibes this Friday? Head over to Spanglish for their #BailandoFridays and dance the night away! They also have a daily happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m.!
Ready to start your day with some bubbles and breakfast? Bacaro is hosting their weekly “Bubbles and Breakfast.” Every Saturday from 10 A.M. to noon they offer bottomless champagne and a la carte menu while you enjoy stunning waterfront views. What a way to start a weekend!
Wherever you decide to spend your weekend rest assured the island’s best bartenders will take good care of you. Cheers to them!
